Meet Intrepid
I’ve loved partnering with Intrepid Travel to bring these group trips to life. They go above and beyond to help me create experiences that feel just like how I travel—local, meaningful, and a little off the tourist trail.
They help me stick to a realistic budget without sacrificing quality, so you get an unforgettable trip that doesn’t break the bank.
And since Intrepid is a certified B-Corp, you can feel good knowing your travel dollars support ethical, sustainable tourism that benefits local communities.
Is India right for you? probably.
What I love about hosting group trips is creating truly memorable experiences. Exploring India’s Golden Triangle—Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra—with a small group and local guide? That’s one of those once-in-a-lifetime adventures.
This is the kind of trip where you’ll ride in rickshaws, try street food you can’t pronounce (but will remember forever), and see the Taj Mahal with your own eyes. It’s electric, colorful, a little chaotic—and unforgettable.
That said, here are a few things to know to make sure this trip is the right fit:
- This is a fast-paced itinerary. You’ll be seeing a lot in just over a week, with multiple cities and long-ish drives between stops.
- India is a sensory overload—in the best way. It’s vibrant and busy, and things don’t always run like clockwork. Flexibility and patience go a long way.
- We’ll be walking through busy markets and uneven streets. A moderate level of physical activity is involved.
- Street food is part of the experience (and included!), but if you have a sensitive stomach, pack accordingly.
- Our accommodations are boutique-style and comfortable, but this isn’t a luxury trip—it’s about immersive travel, not marble bathtubs.
- Cultural norms are different here. We’ll visit temples, where modest dress is required (cover shoulders and knees), and some places may have gender-specific customs.
If you’re up for an adventure full of flavor, history, and incredible local experiences, you’re in the right place.
